Equinox Festival
Sustainable Festivals work primarily as the festivals Noise Consultants, and also provide advice and support on their Event Safety and Premises License. We have worked with the festival since 2015. We liaise between the council’s licensing and environmental health departments and with the local communities. We provide community impact assessments, noise propagation models, on-site survey and design and live event noise management during the festival. We make use of large strawbale walls to improve the sound levels for both the audience and the local community, more sound on-site and less sound at residential properties. We increased the license hours in 2016 by demonstrating excellent management of noise in 2015.
